Who ever thinks that Umphrey is better than Dave, is insane. You have to earn your respect in the music business and Dave Has done that. He sells out Alpine Valley every year 36,000 + fans. Once Umphrey`s does that, they will be on the same level. I still love Umphrey`s to, but to say that is a insult to Dave and has band. His band right now is to good for Umphrey`s. Rock on Dave and rock on Umphrey.

(7:02) Opener with the intro jam>BTL was nice and i was almost expecting a BTL but the intro jam, like said before was longer and i loved it, good to see a little jammin to start things off. BTL was pretty standard but the buildup at the end of the song really got people on their feet. Morning song was next and this would`nt have been my song choice (possibly keep the energy up with something a little upbeat) but it was played great and BB was really feeling the vocals tonight. Wife Soup, oh baby, this one really got things rolling and this one got alot of response from the crowd. The song was played perfectly, Joel was loving it and the fans response was actually very nice. Synco>JO>Synco hit me out of nowhere. Well played, felt the JO was very nice and sounded good. JO lasts about 4 minutes. It was very cool to see BB come over and hold the frets for Jake while he was shreding the guitar...looked awesome. Then for the last song, Partyin` Peeps, the one i wanted so bad at alpine. Played very nicely, and the face melting jam at the end was amazing, looked around and saw quite a few faces in dazed/confused looks it was so good. Ended (7:40)-Alex Syse (jazzodyssey2006)
