Smoking hot show! I missed the first three songs because I had to work...arrived at the end of Ringo. The material from "Mantis" featured tonight, and the improv that went with it was so original sounding and amazingly fluid. My first ever "Plunger" arrived right after I was thinking it would be great if that song made an appearance. So many jams and teases (or was it all in my head?) My buddy and I were hearing Dead tunes - The Other One and West L.A. teases, James Gang, and the obvious Rhiannon. That song seems to be embedded in the band's DNA somehow. Enlighten me if there's a story behind it. Thanks again for another great SF performance. I wish I could join my younger brothers back home for the Depot show in SLC.....alas. I'm looking forward to the next time.
