they went deep on this night. deep. crooked one was actually a highlight for the first set (unusual for me). bright lights is thick and nasty. and the jajunk/dub trio band switch is fucking huge. just layer after layer of texture and funk and groovin` creaminess. for those of us who really LISTEN to what these guys are putting down night after night - i have to say that this show represents some of the best of what umph has to offer. i`d rather they play less songs and go in deep like they did on this night. i thank God that these guys are out there crankin` out show after show and that this music is available for download. it makes my life so damn rich to hear such incredible music. umphrey`s mcgee is, in my opinion, unparalleled. fucking 10th degree black-belt-ninja rockers. thank you thank you thank you.
wow. is all i have to express.the show was incredible, so much feel and groove.can`t wait for frisco. its well worth it to all of ya`ll who missed em in la.-p
