leave it to the bisco fan to say this show was average.

I thought the entire run was sick, 12/29 was no slouch. Kitchen/snucka/HBB/Nemo were sick, i cant wait to hear the rest of the run. Support live music, UM Rocks face.

I`m in some agreement with all of you. I was on the rail the first two nights and sat in the balcony for new years. All in all the show was good but having been seeing UM since the beginning I can say that I thought they added in a lot more metal to the show than they usually do. I attributed this to the overall age of the crowd. I`m an old school dead, phish fan I`m not big on the metal stuff. I listen for the funky grooves that they get going or when Brendan and Jake get some good back and forth jam going. There were moments during this show that were some of the best music I heard all weekend. The song where Jeff came out and played sax was the funkiest song of evening. I was glad to see he didn`t play the whole show with them this year like he did last year. Kinda ruined the second night of the new years run for me last year. I enjoy the horns for a song or two but not the a majority of the shot it takes the band out of it`s rhythm. I met some nice people on the rail this weekend though that pointed out to me I`ve seen so many UM shows that I`m hella critical of their music because I`ve been seeing them for so long. For instance a friend of mind got to hear her first front porch this run and she`s a much bigger fan than I. I did feel old though for a moment when I looked back from the front row and the crowd looked like it was about 12. I felt like my little section were the only ones really dancing and getting into the music. After that I didn`t look back again just watched the show.
