Umphrey's McGee

This show and the one from 6/27/07 are both phenomenal. 2x2 & Partyin` Peeps are always great, and having Alex`s House & Got Your Milk (Right Here) as the final two songs is just brilliant (they`re 2 of my fav. songs), but the one song that stands out in my mind from this entire show is Plunger. It goes from the typical sounding Plunger into a nice 8 min. Jimmy Stewart, back into Plunger then back into another 8 min. Jimmy Stewart. The last 7 to 8 minutes of the song are so melodic and have such a great hook that I wish it were a song all in itself. Great, great stuff and well worth the download. God bless Umphrey`s McGee!

This show was fantastic! The venue is one of the best in Nor Cal. If you haven`t seen a show there, you`re missing out. UM was great! They seemed excited to be playing at the venue and mentioned the beauty of the place. The first set was smoking, but the second set was the REAL deal! Strong and GROOVIN! Thanks UM, I love you guys!
